Job responsibilities
- Prepare the Annual Risk and Compliance Department plan;
- Develop, review and implement all risk and compliance management strategy and action plan to govern all Mega Leasing’s policy, process, procedure, guideline and company activities while support the business growth;
- Review, and conduct the compliance testing to ensure the company is in compliance with relevant regulation, laws, directives and guidelines issued by regulatory bodies, and relevant ministries;
- Assess, and prepare the Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) and Cash Transaction Report (CTR), and other reporting (if any) to Cambodia Financial Intelligent Unit (CAFIU), and develop and update the AML/CFT Policy, Compliance Policy, and other relevant policy;
- Report quarterly to Board Risk Committee on the matters risk management and compliance of the Mega Leasing Plc;
- Review all processes, policies and guidelines, forms and resolution and provide recommendation and feedback to revise/modify to minimize the potential risk from business units;
- Develop, and update the necessary risk management framework, policies, and procedures to prevent/mitigate risk;
- Conduct risk assessment for business future venture to identify the potential risk and validate KRIs (Key Risk Indicator) on quarterly basis, and Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for all departments, units, and branches and strategy to mitigate significant risks to acceptable level;
- Be contact person to work relation with National Bank of Cambodia and Cambodia Financial Intelligent unit;
- Monitor and update the new regulation, laws, directives, or guideline to regulation register, and share to the relevant department/unit;
- Monitor the implementation of the whistle blowing policy, and report the whistle blowing issue to Management and Risk Committee, and review, and revise the whistle blowing policy as needed;
- Supervise the secretary team which in-charged such as preparation of Board of Directors Meeting, and other board committee meeting, facilitate on board meeting calendar, a minute taker, board meeting material and ensure the board of directors document and company documents are properly filing;
- Act as pool of trainer and assist Training Unit to develop training materials and provide trainings as requested.
Job requirements
- At least bachelor degree in Banking and Finance, Law, Business Administration or other equivalent and pursuing ACCA, CPA, and other internal certification is a plus;
- At least 4 years of experiences in banking and financial industry;
- Having experiences in audit, risk, or compliance is highly desired;
- Knowledgeable of risk and compliance management process;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
- Good communication skills;
- Possess honesty, initiative, flexible, commitment, and good interpersonal skill;
- High ethical commitment and trustworthiness
- Fluent in written and spoken Khmer, and good command in both spoken and written English;
- Able to travel to province for fieldwork at branch.
