Job responsibilities
- Conduct Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for all departments and branch related to non-credit operations to identify the potential risk, control weakness and give recommendations to mitigate significant risks to acceptable level
- Review all process, policies and guidelines, forms and memos which are to ensure the sufficient and effective control, and compliance
- Conduct branch visit to ascertain the branch risk awareness and management
- Conduct Operational Risk Management Training to branches and departments on early basis
- Advise/coordinate loss data as submitted by Operational Risk Champion
- Work to establish necessary policies/procedures to prevent/mitigate and operational risk
- Prepare KRIs (Key Risk Indicator) on quarterly basis
- To update risk register on timely basis.
- Coordinate with department and branch to take appropriate action to mitigate or eliminate risk.
- To do data analysis, interpretation, as well as monthly report preparation
- To do the monitoring Pre-NPL and NPL trends and escalate the issues to operation team.
- Conducting industry research from various business types and report the potential risk and potential growth of the sectors to the Risk and compliance Manager.
- To conduct customer business and collateral site visit in order to deliver customer independent review for larger size lease.
- To perform other tasks assigned by Risk and Compliance Manager.
Job requirements
- University Degree in Banking and Finance, Law, Business Administration or other equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experiences in Banking Operations industry.
- Having experiences in audit, Risk and legal is highly desired.
- Sound knowledge of Risk management process for operation.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite especially Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication skills.
- Good command in both spoken and written English.
- Able to travel to province for fieldwork at branch.
